Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium Information:
Bungay High School is committed to providing an excellent education for all our students. Introduced in April 2011, the Pupil Premium is a Government initiative that provides additional funding aimed at students from deprived backgrounds. The Pupil Premium is provided to support these students in reaching their full academic and social potential.
The Leadership Team allocates the money provided, in the way which best meets the needs of present students.
The Pupil Premium provides funding for students:
· Who have been in receipt of free school meals (FSM) at any point in the past 6 years (£1035 per student).
· Who have been continuously looked after for the past six months (£2530 per student).
· Who are adopted from care under the Adoption and Children Act 2002 or who have left care under a Special Guardianship or Residence Order (£2530).
· For students whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces, or whose parent/carer is in receipt of a pension from the MoD (£335 per child).
